Spencer Suval is a Junior at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland. Spencer has taken many steps to better his community all together and have dipped into multiple different service opportunities in his free time. Spencer has always had an interest in the environment and Planting Shade allows him to tap into the environmental side of his community. Spencer started another project along chapter cofounder Juno earlier this year, The Marner Initiative, where they hope to influence a love for reading in young children in the Baltimore area. Spencer's long term goal is just to leave a lasting impact on his area and greater community.

Juno is a rising Senior at the Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland. Especially after the pandemic, he has looked for ways to help the community around him and has co-founded an initiative to foster a love for reading amongst Baltimore children. Juno is looking forward to working with Planting Shade to help the environment surrounding Baltimore and protect the planet one tree at a time.
